Hello and thank you for stopping by, Mel here, from Merani Art! Here to talk about the pieces on topic for this week! Some of the dancer pieces specifically sheading a light on two of the line art pieces. One being Dancing Fishtail, the second being Body Movement.
Let's start with the first! Dancing Fishtail, was a piece I had done to play with movement. I adore adding movement to my pieces and thought that if I used ballerinas as an inspiration, it'd be a perfect match! Fishtail you ask? Why that? Well because she's sporting a very luscious and long fishtail braid. Isn't that just every girls secret desire? To sport thick long hair? But of course! And the outfit, is of course in tribute to the theatre. The stage. Dramatics and fun of a playful play as she's moving across the way. To where? Well, you'll have to watch her play to know.
Onto our second girl, Body Movement, which is the other ballerina inspired line art piece I've done. This gal was a more laid back take with the full bodysuit, furry flat boots to dance in with a fun furry scarf to match! It's a great outfit piece and if anyone ever gets inspired to wear a look like this out; please tag us and let us see! That would be so sweet to see different color variations and even styles of boots and scarfs.

p.s. I didn't talk about anime or manga since, oh I don't know. My work is anime inspired! And it's just that, there will be some pieces that I'll blog about that may not be inspired by a manga or anime I've watched or read. It's just that my style is derived from that style of art! Trust me I'll go on my rants! If anyone has any good shows that are about ballerinas, whether anime, cartoon, or real life shows and movies: Suggest those to us in the comments as well!
