Now here's to another week of the final piece of the collection of Warrior Women, with the piece Viking Women Ready for Battle.
With this piece, as with all of the pieces I incorporated a fight scene but, this time I wanted to add more characters, who instead of fighting each other, are fighting you, the viewer.
Our blonde here, is fighting with the power of cuteness with her two headed axe; the redhead is crouching preparing to pounce with her knife, while the white haired woman in the back is in the process of throwing her flail.
Also each has some battle paint as well. I was going to go darker since I saw that some Vikings wore black warrior paint designs. I thought it would be too intimidating... maybe I'll re-do another Viking design and do a darker take on it!
For inspiration for this piece, I collected a collage of different images ranging from cosplays, weapons, and illustrations. The last post I brought up Xena: Warrior Princess, to a degree the vibe of the show did inspire me a bit.
